About Department
The Master of Computer Applications Program was started in the year 2023 with an intake of 180. The Department of MCA has well-qualified and experienced faculty and excellent computing facilities. The department focuses more on training the students in emerging areas like Machine Leaning, Internet of Things, Ethical Hacking, Cyber Security, Image Processing and Computer Vision, Android Mobile Applications, Development, PHP Programming, HTML5, PERL and Python Scripting etc., with an objective of providing better career opportunities to the students and making them industry ready professionals. The Department of MCA is taking a leading role in making the students Microsoft certified. Microsoft Cloud Competency Centre at SRK Institute of Technology is actively involved in Microsoft Azure Applications Development.

About Dr. Mohammed Abdul Qadeer
Dr. Mohammed Abdul Qadeer, is an accomplished Associate Professor with 25 years of diverse experience in teaching, research, corporate training, and administration, contributing significantly in both India and abroad. He is currently serving at Avanthi PG College and Avanthi Engineering College in Hyderabad, affiliated with Osmania University and JNTUH, where he plays a crucial role in advancing the academic experience for students. Additionally, he is involved with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, where he offers his expertise as a Computer Science lecturer, enhancing the learning environ-ment for a broad spectrum of students.
Dr. Qadeer's academic qualifications are extensive, holding a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Sunrise University and an M.Phil. in Computer Science from VMU, alongside an MCA with distinc-tion from Osmania University. His teaching career is complemented by hands-on corporate training expertise in areas such as Database Administration and Tableau. His professional journey includes substantial teaching roles at prominent institutions like IITM Hyderabad and a lengthy tenure in Saudi Arabia with the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation, where he also served as a registrar and Cisco Networking Academy instructor. His commitment to advancing tech education is evident through his NAAC, TASK, and admissions coordinator roles, as well as his impactful contributions to student engagement as a computer club advisor.
Dr. Qadeer's academic contributions are impressive, with numerous published research papers and book chapters on topics ranging from IoT and green computing to computer networking. His work is well-regarded internationally, and he is actively involved with professional organizations, including IEEE, IETE, and the Computer Society of India, where he has held senior memberships. A multiple-time recipient of the Best Lecturer Award, Dr. Qadeer's recognition as a dedicated educator and his achievements in fields like cybersecurity reflect his ongoing commitment to technological innovation and academic excellence.
